Omschrijving
De Uyttenboogaart-Eliasen Stichting stelt subsidies ter beschikking voor het bijwonen van congressen en symposia. Uitgangspunt is dat de aanvrager op het betreffende symposium een lezing moet houden. Tevens dient de positie van Nederland in de internationale entomologenwereld te worden ondersteund c.q. versterkt.
Voor deze subsidiëring gelden de volgende grenzen:
Het maximum bedrag voor congresreizen binnen Europa bedraagt € 600.
Voor congresreizen buiten Europa wordt maximaal een bedrag van € 1.200 beschikbaar gesteld.
De Uyttenboogaart-Eliasen Stichting stelt ook promovendi in de gelegenheid in het kader van hun promotieonderzoek éénmaal een bijdrage te verkrijgen voor het bijwonen van een congres/symposium, bijvoorbeeld voor een presentatie op een internationaal congres bij de afsluiting van het onderzoek. MSc-studenten kunnen, als uitzondering op de algemene regel, eveneens voor een vergoeding voor congresbezoek in aanmerking komen. Voorwaarden hierbij zijn dat de betreffende student tijdens het congres een presentatie/lezing betreffende zijn/haar studieresultaten verzorgt en dat de subsidieaanvraag vergezeld gaat van een aanbevelingsbrief van de betreffende studiebegeleider. Eventuele andere voorstellen worden ook in overweging genomen.
Iedere aanvraag voor subsidie dient te worden ingediend bij het secretariaat van de Uyttenboogaart-Eliasen Stichting. Gegevens zijn opgenomen onder “contact”. Bij de indiening van een subsidieaanvraag moet rekening worden gehouden met de in deze website opgenomen “algemene richtlijnen”.
